I can remember when my mom died (I was 16) and I faced the question of whether I would blame God for it or
not. My whole world seemed to crash in all at once; my foundations, my understanding, and my reason. Still I never got angry
at God because above all I knew one thing for sure-God is good. Even though everything is falling, He stands strong because
He is faithful! His faithfulness is such that King David says, "Your love reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the
skies!" (Psalm 36:5)
The apostle Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 3:11 that no other foundation can be laid besides
Christ because it will crumble. Also, in Matthew 24:35 Jesus said that, "heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will
never pass away." This shows that we should build on the faithful foundation of Christ-the only one that will never pass away!
The foundation of entire belief is that we have life through Christ's death and we must believe in God's faithfulness
to save us!
