John Cooper: "Vapor is a song that is... basically I'm 26, almost 27. My wife makes a joke and says that I've entered mid-life crisis at 26, haha. And um, really the idea is that... I think I was just having this... I feel that I'm out of... just out of high school but I'm not, I'm like 8 years out of high school. And I feel like my life is like, slipping away, and just the idea that we don't have very much time here on earth. And, uh, the only way to escape that 'life slipping away' is to be born again, you know, with a life that can't end. So the line 'underneath is my reality' is this is my skin, but underneath there in my soul is my truest reality, my life that never ends."
