John Cooper: "Take was a very personable song about my relationship with God. It was like me talking to God, one of those times just saying I don't want to be - I don't want to live for myself, I want to live fully for You. And in that time, I just think that we need to notice there's a lot of selfishness in us, you know we wanna live for ourselves. Even like, for instance, we're raising money for the tsunami efforts and it's just amazing to me to think of all the people that don't even care. You know, they don't care because it's 'a million miles away on the other side of the world, it doesn't affect my life', and selfishness, and, you know, not reaching out to people who are hurting and caring about my own problems and stuff life that. That's a lot of what that song's about."
